05.06.2019CCM Launches M&R System

Complete solution for managing chassis M&R activities

Consolidated Chassis Management (CCM) is pleased to announce the launch of the newly built MandR System (pronounced man-dar) for managing chassis maintenance and repair activities.  The completely intuitive system is fully integrated with the CCM software suite, accessible via a fully integrated mobile app, and is designed to meet the requirements of current and future repair vendors and asset managers.

The system is capable of creating new job orders, retrieving existing job orders, adding and releasing DVIR's, adding and releasing Bad Orders, and facilitating pre and post trip repair audits.  The system will manage DVER's and OOS reports and will record a motor carrier's pre trip, post trip, or both.  The DVER will work behind the scenes with the system placing units OOS as they in gate and update BOES if on a BOES facility.

"CCM takes great pride in providing safe and roadworthy equipment.  From a driver doing a pre-trip inspection to management looking to relieve their team of the administrative burden of the M&R process, the addition of this system to our software suite will greatly benefit the members of the pool and all entities involved in chassis M&R activities," said Jon Poelma, President and COO.

MandR is designed to simplify the estimating process and relieve the administrative burden of getting repair estimates approved to ensure the time and cost to get a chassis repaired are minimized. The system delivers detailed visibility into the M&R cycle and the associated costs.  CCM and vendors will be able to communicate all M&R estimates, job orders, and details of the chassis with near real time updates and alert messages to vendors as changes are made.

"Data interoperability is becoming an increasingly important topic in our industry and one that requires collaboration amongst all stakeholders.  We are excited to launch this solution and continue to position ourselves to support our members and their customers as they integrate new technologies into their supply chain," said Poelma.

The system is not constrained to use within the CCM pool environment; it is also available to be utilized for asset management of those looking to enhance the safety, service levels and cost control of their assets.
